DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!

It's here! It's here! It's finally 'effing here!!!!! After how many weeks of waiting, it's finally come to be!

a long time ago... (in a galaxy far far away...) Wonderful OliveFingers here and I decided to do a little art trade! She created for me a wonderful little character named Rimshot! [link] whom I absolutely adore!

Needless to say, I wanted to make a character as equally awesome as him! She only gave me one guidline though - she loves complex designs...hmmm....just vague enough to work!

So i set about designing a character for her and before I knew it i was waist deep in sewing projects for Otakon and the Deathly Hallows Party at work (pics of me as snapey-pookums coming soon!) and i had to push my art trade aside...

Once I had myself back on track, there was another problem: I had about 5 ideas, but none of them seemed very good at all...so i sent her a note asking her to pick one of the 5 designs so that i could atleast focus on something. She picked what i thought to be the most obscure of my ideas: cobra x shark

c...cobra and a shark? It was my least developed idea, but now that I knew what she liked, i found myself with a new sense of confidence as an artist and set straight to work! It still took me a long time AFTER she told me this (I won't say how long - it's embarrassing... )

We were only supposed to create a small profile page for the character, but seeing as how i took so long and she was so patient and understanding (I LOVE YOU!), i decided i wanted to do a little extra with this picture and with this character! I really wanted to knock her socks off as best i could to make up for making her wait so long...

CERBERUS

FULL NAME Cerberus, the Hydrus
MEANING Cerberus = greek; "demon of the pit", Hydrus = greek; "water serpent", also a constellation.
AGE ? presumably ancient; could be immortal
HEIGHT +/- 45 stories high
EYE fluctuates from pink to crimson
HAIR none
PERSONALITY Spends most of his time in a state of meditation and serenity rivaling Buddha himself - Calm and serene, appreciating everything but realizes that they are only temporary, and attaching himself to as few people as possible. He is never angry and denounces all violence, until one of his few precious loved ones is in danger. He turns into a completely monster - a demon of legend capable of unparalleled power, consumed by blind rage. He rejects his conscious self and gives way to his monstrous nature he was given at birth.
UNIQUE AND COMPLEX TRAITS
He has no hair. Bald bishounen? Not since Piccolo from DBZ...
He is the only one of his "species"
Gives into the "ID" of his personality only in times of great distress
buddhists are sexy...
He's freakin' H U G E!!

um...he's a cobra and a shark...
more specifically a King Cobra and a Thresher Shark
