ah, now for those of us of the manga persuasion...
here's the argument for manga
1. cheaper
2. more story per volume
3. more titles to chose from
4. convenient and portable
5. comes out quicker than a volume of anime
yes...i am of the manga persuasion...
anime is great...
but for me...
manga is better >D
Actually there is a much better argument too. lets put it this way, Lotr, the book came out before te movie...the book obviously has more detail than the movies becasue their only given a certain amount of time for the movie, and money of course so alot of parts are left out due to that.
Same with anime to manga, Manga has more detail and often (if not most) makes more sense than the anime becasue it came out first, and their not confided by time really. That's why I like reading the mangas, because sometimes the animes can be confusing, For instance Chrno Crusade, then you read the manga, and suddenly it all makes sense!
That's why i support this stamp XD
HOOORAY!!! i totally agree too. It's the same way with a LOT of series!
fma (which i actually don't like -_- shoot me please)
Trigun
ah! my goddess
kodocha
evangelion
and many many others but i don't wanna elongate the list anymore >>
OOOOH! I AM AN LOTR FAN TOO!!! >D have been since i was 7!!! even though they left a lot out, i still liked the movies
FMA was definately a shitty anime, but a pretty good manga!
D.N. Angel was okay, but the manga isn't evne finished so that mkaes te anime incomplete.
Saiyuki is a MUCH BETTER manga than the fucking anime, SO MUCH BETTER!!! ;___;
I think the Rurouni Kenshin manga is better than the anime as well, gah I'm such a manga whoreXD
LOTR is really good, the books were fantastically written ^_^
Same with HP, the movies are alright, but the books definately elaborate on alot of things, like when when herminon's cat touched th knot on the whomping willow, tey didn't show that part....but anyone whos' read the book knows about it.
I agree the transtitions from detail drawings and chibis seem more effective in my opinion. I like to stare at the panels it's a lot easier than rewinding and replaying scenes over and over again. yay Manga
